River Clyde, Glasgow, Scotland

A view towards the west of Glasgow from the city centre. I was brought up near to where all the new buildings are on the right of the image in a sandstone tenement building, top flat, and I slept in the kitchen! The river sides were lined with docks and ships from all over the world, alongside the shipyards for which Glasgow was world famous.
